How was it?
Imagine, what would your mum cook, if she was German? That’s right, all the good things we’ve tried in Das Lokal. Delicious bread served with garlic butter in tiny jars; Schwarzfeberhühnerkeule, Lammtartar and Kalbsbraten – with a twist, but still something one might cook at home, all served by very friendly (surprise-surprise!) stuff…this place just calls for a nice dinner with family or old friends.
Why is it hipster?
One word to answer this: Linienstrasse. Do you know any place, that is not hip on this street? We don’t.
And what about prices?
Compared with other German restaurants, this one seems to be slightly overpriced. So yes, as we said, bring your dad and make him pay the bill.
