Noisy, busy, chaotic, and in constant movement – Ishin at lunchtime is how we imagine busy Tokyo lifestyle to be.
Despite being a little too noisy and not quite welcoming at times, there is a long list of reasons for us to love this place. To name a few: great variety of meals beyond sushi, delicious fish, wonderful staff who seems to be able to memorize every face they see and treat you like their favorite guest starting from your second visit.
One more detail that steals our heart every time is the huge counter where all the solo lunchers land. We cannot avoid feeling lost in translation among the loud groups and serious suited up gentlemen over a portion of great sushi.
